Capital

STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT is
a capital fund raising program based solely on God's word. In the
9th chapter of Second Corinthians the Apostle Paul was impressed
by the commitment of the Macedonians- "they gave beyond their ability",
BUT he was more impressed by the process they went through to determine
their commitment. STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT is derived from
that process.
Paul said, "Before they gave their gifts they gave themselves
to God (a recommitment spiritual renewal) and then they gave themselves
to us (a recommitment to the body - the church) by the will of God".
They sought God's will through prayer.
STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT leads people through that
same process - with remarkable results. STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT is
scripturally based and calls for a spiritual commitment; a recommitment
to God's will for the church and through prayer, a sacrificial commitment
that answers a financial need in the church.
STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT will assist your staff and
leadership in creating an environment in which the members of your
church pray for, find, and in faith, follow God's will for the entire
church.
STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT is good stewardship spiritually.
No other stewardship program has the spiritual impact of STEWARDSHIP
ENRICHMENT. No other approach will challenge the people
as effectively in the area of spiritual growth. STEWARDSHIP
ENRICHMENT most faithfully employs the spiritual and scriptural
principles that foster growth in every area of commitment.
STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT is good stewardship financially.
During STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT, the people will make
and fulfill the largest commitment they have ever made. STEWARDSHIP
ENRICHMENT will raise all that is possible to raise and
it will not alienate your people by pressuring
them. It will help them " grow in the
grace of giving". It will enrich their
lives.
(II Corinthians 9:11)
Forward
in Faith
The Rogers Company offers an exciting and enriching Budget Emphasis
called FORWARD IN FAITH. It is based on scriptural
principles and is designed to teach biblical stewardship in new and
exciting ways, to the members of your church.
In order for any church program to be successful, three ingredients
are absolutely essential:
1) Information; 2) Inspiration; and 3) Involvement.
FORWARD IN FAITH incorporates all of these and
more:
1. INFORMATION
The dual objective of FORWARD IN FAITH Information
emphasis is to inform (or re-inform) people about the programs and
ministries of the church and to encourage the people to support those
activities financially (not just for maintenance, but for growth).
2. INSPIRATION
By preaching challenging and exciting messages from the pulpit, your
Senior Minister will provide the foundation for motivation. Your
lay people, by means of stirring testimonies, in teaching situations
and by personal encounters and numerous other ways, will also inspire
and motivate their fellow members to a deeper commitment to Christ
and a greater loyalty to His church and 'growth in the grace of
giving'.
3. INVOLVEMENT
We believe that when people are personally involved in a project,
they will better understand its intent; support its purpose more
faithfully; and desire its success more intently. At the same time,
involvement leads them to "...grow in the grace and knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (II Peter 3:18)
In addition to your enlarged budget and
increased financial support, your members will become involved
in the church as never before. Their devotion to our Lord Jesus
Christ will deepen; their understanding of budgets and programs
will increase; and their love for their church will grow. Basic
biblical stewardship principles will be taught; new leadership
will be discovered and developed; and lukewarm church members will
be "fired up" with a new zeal for stewardship.
These are lasting results and cannot be measured in dollars alone.
Master
Planning Study
1) The Rogers Company staff
will direct an in-depth analysis of your church. Particular attention
will be given to the church's philanthropic and involvement personalities.
This will help strengthen the "Case Statement". (Mission,
Vision, and Purpose Statements)
2) The study will help
communicate the "vision" to
all the people who consider the church special in their lives. This
is a two-way street -- sharing both factual and visionary
information with the people and receiving from them their
hopes, dreams, desires and creative thinking about the church.
3) The study will inform the people of the specific
church needs as determined by the leadership and ask for help in
determining other needs and strategies to fill those needs.
4) The study will help determine the realistic
potential of the congregation. Whatever the potential, the goals
must be set as closely to that potential as possible. A series of
realistic goals will be set as a result of the study.
5) The study will help
formulate a comprehensive campaign strategy, which anwers the question, "How are we going
to get to where we are going?" It must include the need, the
timing, the schedule of the leadership, and the personalities of
the leaders and donors.
6) The study will create
an atmosphere, an environment, a climate, in which every person
who feels a part of the church will begin to think and pray about
God's will for themselves, individually, as part of God's will
for the entire church. With that start, the people will begin to "grow in the grace of giving",
and through STEWARDSHIP ENRICHMENT, will give wonderfully
to accomplish the vision God has given. |
